What were you doing one year ago today?
Submitted by CassandraMorgan.
It was a Sunday, and I was no doubt cleaning my house.
What's the story behind a time when you got locked out?
The one time that comes to mind was during one of my night classes in college, and I locked my keys AND my cell phone in my car. All I had was my wallet with a few pieces of change and, fortunately, a pay phone. Unfortunately, I was parked in the most difficult-to-find little parking lot at the entire university, and my brother couldn't call me back (cell was in the car), so he just had to drive around, hoping to find it. He eventually did and it wasn't so bad, plus I don't remember there being any creepy people around. Heh.
What was your favorite game to play at recess in grade school?
Submitted by Elisheva Chana.
We had so many great recess games. The ones I remember best are four-square, at which I rocked if I remember correctly, and something called "gutter ball". We had these curved gutters running along the playground, and on teams of 3-4, you would bounce a ball hard against the slanted side of the gutter, which would make it fly up and outward, and the other team members were lined up and had to catch it. It seems so simple, but it sure was fun.
Who was your first celebrity crush?
Submitted by Glory.
I think that must have been Jonathan Knight, of New Kids on the Block. I still think he was a pretty good-looking guy, minus all the 80s-ness. I wonder what he looks like now.
Have you ever played matchmaker? How did it go?
I have not, probably because I don't have that many friends and I certainly don't have different social circles from which I could pluck prospects who hadn't met. Likewise, nobody has ever hooked me up!
What's the best way to get on your good side?
Submitted by Manon-It-All.
1. Smile a lot.
2. Be highly responsible and trustworthy. Having a "take-charge" personality is a plus but optional.
3. Be very witty and make me laugh.
What was the worst job you ever had?
Submitted by salaryman.
I once worked the front counter at a gym for a total of five hours. They trained me for about 20 minutes, then left, and I was alone for the rest of my shift. I had no flipping idea how to do a damn thing. I went home crying, and the next day my brother and I returned the door key, he had some words, and I never got paid and never went back.
What is one of your favorite poems?
Submitted by marvel is my pen name.
My favorite poem is "Richard Cory" by Edwin Arlington Robinson.
Whenever Richard Cory went down town,
We people on the pavement looked at him:
Who was your best (or worst) elementary school teacher?
Submitted by Minnow.
I loved all of my elementary school teachers, and they all loved me. Hehe. I wish I could visit each one of them again, but I know that some of them have passed away. In particular I loved my fourth grade teacher and my sixth grade teacher. Those were great years for me, and they were just so much fun.
If you could have one superpower, what would you choose?

I think I would like to fly. I used to have flying dreams when I was younger (back when I had good dreams sometimes) and it was awesome. Plus, I love flying in planes. :)
